BuzzMyBrain data deletion
This page explains how to ask BuzzMyBrain (the buzzmybrain.app website and the BuzzMyBrain Android and iOS apps) to delete your data. There are no accounts, so there is nothing to log in to or close.
How to request deletion
Email support@buzzmybrain.app with the subject "Delete my data". To find your game data, include the room code(s) you played in and the display name you used. To remove yourself from the waitlist, send from the email address you signed up with, or use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
What gets deleted
Game data is deleted automatically one hour after the last player leaves a room, so usually there is nothing left to request. Otherwise we delete your display name, the random player ID used to reconnect you, your score in that room, and your waitlist email address if you gave us one. We complete requests within 30 days and confirm by email.
What we keep
Nothing that identifies you. Cookieless, aggregate visit counts from Cloudflare Web Analytics contain no personal data and are not affected. Your language preference and last display name are stored only on your own device; uninstalling the app or clearing site data removes them.
